Quanz, Robert “Bob” M.
Robert M. Quanz, 64, went to be with our Heavenly Father on Thursday, February 1, 2018. He not only fought a courageous battle with MDS & Leukemia, but 2018 would have marked his 30th anniversary as a recovering alcoholic/addict. Bob and his brother Rick had a passion for building and racing stock cars. Together they formed the Quanz Boys Racing Team and won the Stock Car Division Crown at Pike’s Peak Hill Climb in 1992 among many other races. Bob was an insurance adjuster and eventually retired from Allstate after 35 years to pursue another love he had for building custom Harley Davidson Motorcycles. He was very well known and respected among the racing, auto and motorcycle worlds. When Bob made friends, they were friends for life. Thank you, Stan Ryel for your selfless acts during his final days. Bob is survived by his daughters, Kayla and Brandi; grandson, Dominic; his siblings, Debbie LoGuercio and husband Steve, Rick Quanz and wife Barbara, Kathy Quanz Martinez, Wendy LoGuercio and husband Mike, Patti Salaz and husband Marcos and Stephanie McCullough along with 14 nieces and nephews. A viewing will be held on Friday, February 9, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at FRENCH –Westside.
