Robert "Bob" McDonald

Robert "Bob" McDonald went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, July 21, 2016, after a long battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Carol; his children, Connie Raikes (Mathew), Rick McDonald (Kathy), all of Rio Rancho, NM, and Lisa Alexander (Stephen) of College Station, TX; grandchildren, Ricky, Matt, David, Madeline, Cora and Barrett; great-grandchildren, Jordan, Brooke, Ryan, Addy, Lily, Emma and Gavin; his sister, Connie Stephens, and his brother, Ken McDonald, as well as numerous extended family members.
Bob served in the United States Army for 23 years and went on to work with the Department of Defense for more than 26 years before retiring at Ft Bliss, Texas. He attended Soul Rio Church in Rio Rancho with his wife.
Interment will take place Friday, July 29, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Ave, Fort Bliss, TX 79906.
