Robert S. Lucero Jr

Robert S. Lucero Jr. (44) found peace and freedom from pain on January 13, 2016. He was raised in Albuquerque and Estancia and graduated from Sandia High School in 1989. Robert had an infectious smile and a huge heart. He loved the Pittsburgh Steelers, Harley Davidson motorcycles and his dogs. Music and dancing lifted his heart. He laughed often and treasured seeing others laugh with him. More than anything he loved his family and spent much of his time displaying that love.

He is survived by his wife, Ronda Lucero; his children Ashley Lopez, Samantha Garnand, Daniel Barela, Marcus Barela, Jeremy Barela and Kristen Barela and grandchildren Joseph Garcia, Amara Barela, Leila Barela and Jaya Barela. He is also survived by his mother and stepfather; Ida and Rene Martinez; stepmother Kathy Garrett; sisters, Natalie Heckroth (husband Louis) and Kendra Lucero Claeson and step-sisters Maria Torivo and Stephanie Martinez. Also missing him are his nieces and nephews Isaac Lucero, Taylor Heckroth, Kasey Heckroth, Anthony Claeson and Kailee Claeson. We love you Robert.

Funeral services will be held Friday, January 22, 2016, 10:00 am at FRENCH-Wyoming.
