Robert Lee Higgins

Robert Lee Higgins, age 93, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, son of Charles and Eva Higgins, passed away on Friday, January 14, 2022, at home surrounded by family.

He attended Quincy, Illinois, High School, earned his B.S. in pharmacy from the University of Illinois and served in the United States Army. Robert worked for many years for the Upjohn Company and as an avid runner and exercise enthusiast completed several marathons. He played the violin as a child and his love of music lead also to learning to play the flute as well as playing the trumpet in his high school band, several orchestras and performing Taps for many Memorial Day events.

Robert is survived by his wife, Eleanor; his daughter, Carol (Andre'); and grandson, Gaetan.

Military services will be at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
