Robert (Bob) L. Garcia, was called home by our precious Lord and Savior on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at the age of 67.
Robert was born May 29, 1954 in Santa Fe, NM. Robert is preceded in death by his parents Orlando and Della Garcia; brother John Garcia, son David Garcia. He lived most of his life in Albuquerque, NM. Robert enlisted in the US Army and served his country. Robert loved his family with all his heart. Everything he did was for them. He had a way of making us feel like family and taught us to be loving always, and take care of one another. He had a way of bringing light, warmth, guidance and cracked hilarious jokes that would catch us off guard. Robert was strong, and a warrior, even in his final moments. To miss someone so much means they were extremely special, we were blessed to have him in our lives.
Robert is survived by his true love Jeannie Sigala, they had so many ventures and so many wonderful memories; sisters Virginia Valdez (husband Billy) and Lisa Garcia; daughter, Audrey Hernandez (husband Mike); sons Robert Garcia (late wife, Kimmy) and Michael Garcia; stepdaughters Antoinette Sigala; Cathleen Coy (husband Paul); Katrina Sigala (husband David); Brandy Flores (husband Nathan); Krista Sigala (late husband, Jaycob). All his extended family and friends.
He was a blessed grandfather and loved unconditionally. His grandchildren, Marisshia son Mateo (fiancé Rob); Paul Jr. daughters Brooklyn & Remi (fiancé Melanie); Elijah (wife Denise); Jeremy; Taylor daughters Gia & Penny; Jordyn; Brian; Brandon; Isaiah; Jonathon; Santiago; Jayden; Branae; Evan; Nathan Jr.; Luke.
We will miss his “dad jokes” and laughter, along with him telling us “be careful, call me when you get home and say your prayers.” One of Robert’s last words on a rainy day, was “its not the weather, I just don’t want to leave you guys.” The void Robert leaves behind can never be filled. He will be deeply missed. Even in the midst of “no longer” here on earth, there is promise that we will one day see you in Heaven. Until we are reunited, we will miss you dearly.
