Robert "Bob" Lane

Robert "Bob" Lane, 73, loving husband, father and grandfather passed away at home on April 2, 2017. Robert was a Vietnam Navy Veteran. He graduated from the University of New Mexico with a Master's Degree and went on to work as a physical education teacher and coach at Jefferson Middle School for 28 years.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Carole Lane; son, Kevin Lane and wife, Tonya of Gilbert AZ; daughter, Traci Hobart and husband, Clint; and three grandchildren, Riley, Jake and Parker of Albuquerque, NM; brother, Joseph Lane and wife, Connie of Henrietta, OK; sister-in-law, Barbara Lane of Oviedo, FL; sister-in-law, Mary Jo Chapman and husband, Gary of Kingwood, TX; brother-in-law, Kent Bridenstine and wife, Wendy of Plainview, TX; and many other family and friends. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Reba and his brother, Leroy. Mr. Lane will be laid to rest Friday, May 19, 2017, 10:30 a.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
