Robert Jaramillo, beloved father, passed away peacefully on May 7, 2015 . He was born in 1919 in Denver, Colorado. His family moved and settled in the northern parts of New Mexico, and eventually lived most of his life in Albuquerque. He is survived by his sons Robert Jr., Dean, Jose, and Phillip; daughters-in-law Cheryl, Janet, Honey, and Renee; thirteen grandchildren Robert Jr., Debbie, Dean Jr., Eugene, Jose Jr., Michael, Samantha, Leah, Michael Dean, John (son of Jose Sr.,preceded in death), Kaysie, Heather, Carla, and Candice; grand daughters husbands Derrick, Stephen, Eric, Kenny, Dan; plus many other great-grandchildren, family, friends, and organizations too numerous to list. At ninety-five years of age he was preceded in death by three wives Marina, Anna, and Jean. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and served his country with honor and pride during WWII. As a survivor of Pearl Harbor, and a member of the Weapons Platoon 22nd Marines 6th Marine Division, he took part in many battles that were fought in the pacific theater. A visitation and service will be held on Tuesday May 19, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. - 10:45 a.m., followed by a continental breakfast. Robert will then travel and be laid to rest at the Santa Fe National Cemetery with military honors at 1:30 p.m. All of those who were privileged to know Robert are welcome to attend and join his family and friends to reminisce on the joy this man brought to many.
