Robert D. House

Robert D. House, age 90, passed away on November 14, 2014. Bob was a decorated WWII Veteran and Purple Heart recipient from the Battle of the Bulge. He moved to Albuquerque in 1954 to work at Sandia Labs and retired in 1980. He was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Helen Marie House. Bob is survived by his children, Linda Remstad (Carl), Robert House (Yolanda), James House (Carolyn Ann), Pamela Johnson (Steve), and Carol Marquez (Carlos); 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; and his longtime friend, Terri Thorpe. Interment of cremated remains will be at Santa Fe National Cemetery at a future date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Wounded Warriors Project, .
