Robert "Bob" Hocker

Robert "Bob" Hocker, age 81, resident of Albuquerque and former resident of Grants, NM, passed away Saturday, February 17, 2018 peacefully, surrounded by his family.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Shelia Hocker; children, David Hocker and wife, Adrianne and their sons, Jonathan Hocker and wife, Veronica and their daughters, Leah and husband, John Kuziomko and their daughter; brother, Bill Hocker and wife, Kathy and their family; and numerous extended family and friends.

Bob was born in Gallup, NM in 1936. He was the most loving person, never considering himself better than anyone else. Bob would give the shirt off his back, if it would help another. One of his greatest joys were his children and grandchildren and being called "Opa". Bob was a devout Catholic and placed his Christian values in all that he did. He lived his faith.

Friends may visit Tuesday, February 20, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. until a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. at FRENCH – Lomas. Further services will be in Texas. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Bob's name to St. Vincent de Paul, 4120 Menaul Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110.
