Robert Lee Grabill

Robert "Bob" Grabill, passed away at home in Albuquerque, New Mexico on Friday, February 10, 2023 at the age of 85. Bob was born on May 27, 1937 in Heppner, Oregon to Robert and Reba Grabill. He graduated from Heppner High School where he excelled in baseball and basketball. He later moved to Pendleton, Oregon where he worked for United Airlines 40+ years until his retirement.

Bob married the love of his life, Barbara Boatright on April 18, 1975, in Pendleton, Oregon and eventually made Albuquerque their home. They were not just husband and wife, but best friends and he stayed forever devoted to her. Bob enjoyed spending time flying airplanes, watching classic movies and reading about history and aircraft. He cherished his family and the time he spent with them brought him great joy.

Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Grabill; and his parents, Robert and Reba Grabill. He is survived by his children, Debbie Peterson (Richard), Carmen Becker (Lorne), Linda Harris, Bob Boatright (Cyndee), and Lisa Kolb (James); his grandchildren, Angela Browning, Jamie Gomez (Kevin), Jeremy Boatright (Niki), and Nicole Makin (Brandon); and great-grandchildren, Deva Murillo Alexander (Ben), Indra Murillo, Julian and Isabella Gomez, Andre, Brianna, Makayla, Cameron, Braelyn and Atana Makin, Caiden, Ellianna, Eli, and Matthew and Zerah Boatright. He was loved very much and his family will forever miss his smile, sense of humor, and his love and dedication to each and every one of us. He was truly the last of his kind.
