Robert Gilbert

Son, Brother and Uncle, passed away to the spirit world, Wednesday, April 17, 2013. Robert was born on December 20, 1958 in San Diego, CA to Judge Carol A. Connor and the late Robert Gordon Gilbert. He always loved the time he spent in his birthplace, California and would often reminisce and long for the happy times he found there. Robert spent years of his life enjoying adventurous travel around the country. He spent time in the US Army. Robert had a spirit of perseverance during life's tribulations. He enjoyed trying to be funny with his nieces and nephews and will be remembered by his audible voice and laugh. Robert is survived by his mother, Carol A. Connor; stepfather, Jacques Louis Conner Lacan; sisters, Cindy Montgomery and Lori Matier-Vittatoe; and many nieces and nephews. Services will be held Friday, April 26, 2013, 10:00 a.m., at FRENCH - University. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE.
