Robert E. Dymsza, 82, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday, April 5th 2016. Bob was funny, smart, loving, loyal and proud of his family. He loved sharing a great meal with family and friends. He loved to laugh and he loved being surrounded by people who enjoyed the art of telling a good story or a corny joke.
He stayed in touch with friends he had known since childhood and mourned deeply when some of them began to pass. We know that those who are still with us will mourn him just as deeply. They are a tight bunch, those New England boys.
He was born in Boston, MA in 1933, graduated from Nobel & Greenough in 1952 and attended the Wharton School of Finance & Commerce at the University of Pennsylvania. He joined the Army and was stationed at Fort Bliss in El Paso, TX where he met his wife, Trini.
Bob volunteered with Junior Achievement, sat on several boards in El Paso including Hotel Dieu Hospital, St. Margaret's Center for Children, El Paso Historical Society, Water Board for the County of El Paso and as Financial Officer for the Catholic Diocese of El Paso. He finally retired as a Senior Vice President - Investments from Wells Fargo and was a member of the Horizon, and Alto Lakes Golf Clubs.
Bob and Trini moved to Albuquerque, NM in 2000 to be closer to their children and grandson. He is survived by his loving wife, Trini S. Dymsza; his daughters, Deidre Cadenhead, Pam Dymsza and Cathy Fleischacker; his son-in law Michael Cadenhead; and his grandson, Antonio Dymsza, all of Albuquerque, NM. His sisters-in-law, Rachel Moore of Houston, TX; Marylee Whitten of Las Cruces, NM; and Neoma Knight of Anchorage, AK. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews, their children and grandchildren throughout the United States.
Bob had a very special place in his heart for his alma mater, Nobel & Greenough in Dedham, MA. In lieu of flowers we ask that you consider making a donation to their annual fund, in his name.
