Robert Duran, 63, beloved father and husband, was called to his eternal resting place on February 19, 2018. He entered this world on March 30, 1954, in Roswell, NM, born to Theodore and Josephine Duran. He is survived by his daughters, Kimberly Duran and Leticia Duran; grandson, Jake Duran and wife, Maria Duran. He was preceded in death by both his parents and seven brothers and sisters and is survived by his brother, Gene Duran; and sisters, Judy Gonzales, Evelyn Silva, Mary Espinoza, and Terry Chavez.
He was a kind man with a big heart, all were welcome into his home for love and support. This remained true until the day of his passing. He worked several years at Intel and retired from the University of New Mexico as a water boiler operator.
His Rosary will be held Wednesday, February 28, 2018, at 6:00 p.m. at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Church, 5415 Fortuna Road, NW. A Memorial Service will be held on March 1, 2018, at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Church at 11:00 a.m. followed by his Burial at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. After his burial, family and friends are invited to join the family at Rosario Hall located at the church.
