Robert W. "Bob" Donohoe

Robert Wesley Donohoe "Bob", 88, passed away suddenly at home July 13, 2015. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Dorothy; his children, Dr. Sherry Frese and husband, Dr. Michael Frese, Rob Donohoe and husband, Michael Coleman, Jeff Donohoe, Mary Haley and husband, Tim. Bob is also survived by his grandchildren, Dustin Donohoe, Matthew Frese, Bradford Frese and wife, Laura; great grandson, Paul Frese; his sister, Patricia Deitiker; and many other family and friends. Bob honorably served our country in the United States Air Force during WW II and the Korean Conflict. He was a graduate of the University of Delaware and later became a project manager/electrical engineer for Sandia National Labs. Bob enjoyed world travel with his wife, wood carving, and especially building and spending time at the family cabin in the Pecos high country. Bob was a longtime member of St. Luke Lutheran Church. A Memorial Service will be Saturday, July 18, 2015, 11:00 a.m. at St. Luke Lutheran Church, 9100 Menaul Blvd NE. Cremation has taken place and Santa Fe National Cemetery will be his final resting place at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Luke Lutheran Church or charity of your choice.
