Robert (Bob) Delcamp, age 87, man of God and loving husband and father, went home to Jesus on Saturday, April 17th, 2021, at his home in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Bob was known for his willingness to preach the redeeming love of Christ, his sense of humor, and his love of gospel music. All three of these he joyfully shared with the churches he pastored throughout New Mexico, Texas, and Montana, and with all he came in contact with throughout his life.
Bob is survived by his wife of 57 years, Sandra Delcamp; his three children and their families, daughter, Darlene Blose and husband, Bill of Katy, TX; son, David Delcamp and his wife, Kelley of King, NC; daughter, Dixie Mussaw and her husband, Jamie of Albuquerque, NM; and his five grandchildren, Hannah Bledsoe, Mayson Long, Rachel Delcamp, Harper Blose, and Joel Blose. Bob also leaves behind his niece, Terry McKay and her husband, Bobby of Farmington, NM. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, William and Helen Delcamp; and his two sisters, Wilma (Billie) Green and Dixie Delcamp.
A closed casket service will be held Sunday, April 25, 2021, 2:00 p.m., at First Baptist Church, 1350 Bosque Farms Blvd., Bosque Farms, NM. Interment will take place at the Santa Fe National Cemetery on Tuesday, April 27, 2021, 10:30 a.m. Attendance is limited to immediate family.
