Robert O. Daily, 84, passed away at his Albuquerque home Saturday morning, August 14th. Born April 28, 1937, in Muskogee, he was a long-time resident of Tulsa before retiring to New Mexico. In Tulsa, Daily led Advertising Incorporated from 1981 to 1993, helped raise three children, and was involved in the Tulsa business community.
He was a past president of the Southwestern Association of Advertising Agencies. In 1991, Daily received the Silver Addy from the Tulsa Advertising Federation for his years of industry service. A 1961 University of Tulsa graduate, Daily also attended the University of Arkansas where (as he would say) he studied "being a Sigma Chi."
After moving to Albuquerque, Daily and his wife, Nancy, joined Sandia Presbyterian Church and stayed active with Sun Tours and the Coronado Villa Retirement Village.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Nancy; a daughter, Kathryn Ann Daily of Albuquerque; two sons, Robert Glenn Daily of St. Louis, and William Bently Daily of Albuquerque; plus, three grandchildren; Joe, Madeline, and Romey. Additional survivors include his sister-in-law, Carol Meyer, and her spouse, Charles Meyer, of Ada.
The family prefers memorials to a charity of your choice or to Southern Christian Children's Home at 100 W. Harding St.; Morrilton, AR 72110.
