Robert Martinez, 66, beloved Grandfather, Father, Fiance, Brother, Uncle, and Friend, was called to his eternal resting place on July 13, 2018 in his home in Albuquerque, NM surrounded by members of his family. He entered this world on October 25, 1951 in Las Vegas, NM, born to Domingo and Isabel Martinez. He is survived by his daughter, and son-in-law, Samantha and Ronald Morgan; son, and daughter-in-law, Ernest and Patsy Martinez; fiancée, Manuela Uritu; grandchildren, Raymond Morgan, Ernest Robert-Carlos Martinez, Mi- Me Burgara, Meressa Garcia, Tasha Abeyta, Robert Garcia; great grandchildren; great-great grandchildren; brother, Ernest Martinez; and sisters, Edwina Martinez, Annette Gabaldon, Antoinette Grubbs, and Antonia Sandoval.

He was an accomplished salesman. He retired as a successful Real Estate Agent. His other careers included Auto Salesman, Horse Trader, Railroad Computer Clerk to name a few. He was known for his charm, wit, generosity, honesty, and larger than life personality. He loved traveling and the finer things in life - beautiful jewelry, immaculately clean and attractive vehicles, and stylish clothes.

He loved his family deeply. He believed family is the most important part of life. He made sure to visit family wherever his travels took him. He did all he could to support his family and to show them love.

A rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. with visitation starting at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday July 17, 2018 at FRENCH-University. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, July 18, 2018, 10:00 a.m., at Our Lady of Fatima. Burial will occur after the mass at Sunset Memorial Park at 924 Menaul Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87107. A reception will be held following the burial at ATM VFW Post 401, 2011 Girard Blvd SE, Albuquerque, NM 87106.

His children would like to say a special thank you to their Uncle Ernest Martinez and Aunt Edwina Martinez for the exceptional care and love they gave their father as his health started failing.
