Robert Roy Comstock, 55, lifelong resident of Albuquerque, passed away on July 28, 2016. He is survived by his mother, Betty Jo; brothers, Mark (Dayna), Gary, and Roger (Cyndi); niece, Cristin Martinez; nephew, Joseph Comstock; along with friends and extended family members. Rob was preceded in death by his father, Frederic G. Comstock; and his oldest brother, Curtis.
Rob was very patriotic and, though he didn't serve in the military, he was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post 44 in Elephant Butte, NM. He was an ardent Pittsburgh Steelers fan and had a great love of the outdoors, wildlife, and especially his beloved pets. His kindness will be missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.
Service and reception will be held on Friday, August 5, 2016, beginning 1:00 p.m. at Immanuel Presbyterian, 114 Carlisle Blvd SE, Albuquerque, NM 87106. Burial will follow at Sandia Memory Gardens, 9500 San Pedro Dr. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87113.
