Robert Fredrick (Bob) Casias, 63, a resident of Albuquerque NM, unexpectedly passed away at his home early in the morning of Friday, Oct. 3, 2014, due to medical complications. Bob was born on Nov. 17, 1949 in Albuquerque, NM, and was raised in Bosque Farms, NM. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Manuel F. and Josephine Serafina Casias of Bosque Farms. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Nancy Casias, and son, Chris Casias, of Los Lunas, NM, as well as his brothers, Bill Casias, Ernie Casias and his sister, Joann Casias. He is also survived by his nieces, Yvonne Casias, Tasha Casias, Krisy Blystone; nephews, William Casias, Charlie Casias, Justin Blystone and Garrett Blystone as well as many extended family members and friends. A graduate of Los Lunas High School, Bob served in the United States Air Force and the New Mexico Army National Guard for more than 15 years. A hard-working man, he gave 100 percent in anything he did. He loved spending time at the family land in Canjilon, NM. He was also fascinated with muscle cars and was an avid New England Patriots Fan. A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2014, at 12 p.m. at FRENCH - University.
