Basham, Robert "Bob" Earl
Robert "Bob" Earl Basham was born on July 26, 1958 in Hobbs, NM, to Bill and Pat Basham of Santa Fe. He attended school in Albuquerque and was a 1980 graduate of UNM.
Bob was a long-time Golf Professional, working in Rio Rancho, NM, San Diego, CA, Carlsbad, NM, and Albuquerque, NM and was currently the Head Professional at Paa-Ko Ridge Golf Club. For a number of years, he also ran Basham Construction Company with his father, and built many of the homes in Socorro. Together, they also restored many of the historic buildings for the community.
He loved and enjoyed his family - wife, Sabina; son, Nicholas; Grammy, Rose Armijo; and his dog, Amor. His co-workers and friends are too numerous to mention.
Bob fought his battle with cancer for 5 years and went to be with the Lord and his parents on January 21, 2016.

A Celebration of his life and time of remembrance will be held on Sunday, January 31, 2016, 1:30 p.m. at the Paa-Ko Event Center, 232 Paa-Ko Dr., Sandia Park, NM 87047.
