Robert Ward Baird

Robert Ward Baird, age 88, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away Wednesday, February 26, 2014. Robert was born and raised in Preston, Idaho, and obtained a master's degree from the University of Utah. Robert was a proud 30-year retired military colonel, and retiree of White Sands Missile Range as a computer analyst. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; his children, Betty Lois (Ron) Johnson, Jim (Karen) Sabin, Bruce (Patty) Baird, Shireen (Douglas) Orr, Deanna (Mike) Brown, and Carolyn (John) Worstell; and his sister, Barbara White. He was a proud grandfather to 21; great-grandfather to 35; and great-great grandfather of two. He is predeceased by his daughters, Donna Baird and Peggy Sabin; and his parents. Services will be held Monday, March 3, 2014, 11:00 a.m., at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 4109 Eubank Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, 87111.
