Rita S. Saiz

Rita Saiz, 100, beloved mother and grandmother, was called to her eternal resting place on March 5, 2018. She entered this world on September 28, 1917 in Las Vegas, NM, born to Perfecto and Sabina Sanchez. She is survived by her six children; Jon, Gilbert, Frank, Joseph, his wife, Liz, Maria Saiz-Aranda, her husband, Sixto Aranda, and Mike and his wife, Mary Helen. She was preceded in death by 13 siblings and husband, Frank Saiz Sr.

Rita was a dedicated mother and grandmother to her numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed embroidering, crocheting, and always loved going to the casino.

Pallbearers are Tony Saiz, Manny Saiz, Frank Saiz Jr., Danny Saiz, Adrian Saiz, and Donald Montoya.

A public viewing will be held Thursday, March 8, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. at FRENCH – Westside, followed by a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Memorial Services will be held Friday, March 9, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. at Nativity of Blessed Virgin Mary, 9502 4th St, and burial will follow at Mt Calvary Cemetery. Friends & Family are welcome to join in a celebration of her life at 11:30 a.m. at American Legion Post 69, 9000 4th Street NW following the services.
