Rita Patricia Brenn

Rita Patricia (Gallagher) Brenn, Age 82, a resident of Albuquerqe, died Friday, October 23, 2015 with her family beside her. She is survived by her children, Bill Brenn and wife, Vivian, Barbara Charley and husband, West, John Brenn, and Jim Brenn; grandchildren, Sara, Shawna, Stacey, Nicole, Michele and Stevie; great-grandchildren, Alex, Allysha, Jayden and Leyna; brother, Bill Gallagher; sister Kathleen Ray; and other relatives and many friends. Pat was preceded in death by her loving husband, Rudy; and sisters, Loree and Maryanne.
She was born in 1933 in Waukegan, IL to Vincent and Mary Gallagher. Rita attended St. Mary's High School in Albuquerque where she met her husband, Rudy. She was very artistic and enjoyed building things, painting, and making jewelry. Rita had a special spot in her heart for animals and donated regularly to animal charities. She loved to go for rides and had quite a sweet tooth. Rita loved Cokes and cookies and anything chocolate. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandma and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Graveside Service will be held at Santa Fe National Cemetery, Monday, November 2, 2015 at 11:15 a.m.
