Riley Hein, age 16, passed away Friday, November 13, 2015 in Tijeras, New Mexico. His legacy is one of humility, laughter, friends, and music. Riley was a bright and gentle spirit. He was a natural athlete, accomplished musician, and a longboard wizard. Trombone, piano, and laughter were his languages. Riley ran cross-country and played the trombone in the Manzano Royal Guard Marching Band. He is survived by his parents, Eric Walter Hein and Wendy Sievertson Hein; his sister, Rachel Renee Hein; his grandparents, Julius and Starr Hein, and Althea Reed Sievertson. He also leaves behind many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. We will carry his spirit in our hearts forever and find comfort in the many lives that he touched. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 28, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. Central United Methodist Church 201 University Blvd., Albuquerque. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Riley Eric Hein Memorial Fund through any Wells Fargo branch.
