Richard Michael Wing

Richard Michael Wing passed away peacefully at home November 3, 2017. He was born January 24, 1936 in Chicago, IL. He attended St. George High School in Evanston, IL. After graduating from the University of Notre Dame ('57) he served in the United States Marine Corps. On November 8, 1958 he married Virginia Geisler at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Skokie, IL. In 1968 he moved with his family to Albuquerque where he finished his accounting career at Siemens (GTE Lenkurt). Upon retiring, he enjoyed many active years. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Virginia; children, Richard (Leslie), Cindy (Randy), Dennis (Mary Ellen), James (Therese), Mary (Ron), Billy (Janette), Patrick (Heather); 17 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John XXIII Catholic Church, 4831 Tramway Ridge Dr. NE, 87111. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
