Richard Tafoya, age 79, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away suddenly Thursday, July 14, 2016.
He is survived by his wife, Doris; sons, Ruben Tafoya, Ronald Matthew Villalobos and Donald Mark Villalobos; brother, Frank Tafoya; sisters, Helen and husband, Jose Barraza, Toni and husband, Dick Tackett, Frances Tafoya and Patricia Johnston; numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Manuel and Maxine Tafoya; his brother, Orlando; and sister, Maxine Archuleta.
Richard served in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged. Richard and Doris were members of Casa del Rey Church and were married for 21 years. He was loved by many people and will be greatly missed!
