Richard Lee Sloan of Albuquerque died peacefully in his home Sunday, July 20, 2014 at 10:00 p.m. Dick Sloan was a retired FBI agent who served his early career in New Orleans, LA and then later in Gallup/Zuni and Albuquerque, NM. He retired after 20 years of faithful service with much recognition as an outstanding special agent. He is a beloved father and friend to so many who remember him for his warm hospitality and kind spirit. He is survived by his 3 children, 8 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren; daughter, Sherrill and Jim Hickman of Auburndale, FL and their 2 children; granddaughter, Rachel and Chris Renfro and great grandchildren, Reilly and Brielle, and granddaughter, Ashley and JJ Bock; son Lance and Leanne Sloan of Albuquerque, NM and their 3 children; grandson, Jeremy and Sarah Sloan and great grandchildren, Abraham, Benjamin, Judah, and Grace; granddaughter, Staci and August Narducci and their great grandchildren, Evie and Luca, and granddaughter, Amanda and Chris Torres and their great grandchildren, Isaiah and Hannah; son, Shaan and Maxine Sloan and their 3 children; grandson, Daniel and Samantha Sloan and their 2 great grandchildren, Meka and Penelope, granddaughter, Jessica Sloan, and granddaughter, Anna and Ben Gonzalez. The family is grateful for the love and care given by Jessica Sloan, Andrew Garcia, David and Antoinette Gibson, and Terri Kibodeaux. The Sloan family is also grateful for all the love and concern shown by all. May God have mercy on His soul through Jesus Christ.
