Richard O. "Ric" Skrondahl Jr

Richard "Ric" O. Skrondahl, Jr. Age 61, died Wednesday, December 23, 2015. He is survived by his children, Josh Skrondahl, wife Shaunna and Irene Skrondahl; mother, Nikki Skrondahl; brother, David W. Skrondahl and wife Jeri of Santa Fe; nieces, Natalie Romero and husband, Gabe, and Jennah Skrondahl; partner, Jennifer Thumma; the mother of his children, Angalene Finlay; and numerous other relatives and friends. Ric was preceded in death by his father, Richard O. Skrondahl, Sr; and sister, Victoria Skrondahl. He was born in 1954 in Albuquerque, NM and graduated from Highland High School, Class of 1972. Ric then entered the United States Army where he proudly served during the Vietnam Conflict. After his service he went to work for the United States Postal Service and retired after 34 years. Ric loved snow skiing and watching his son Josh play baseball . His number one love was his family. Ric was a loving father, son, brother and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Friends may visit FRENCH - Lomas on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 pm. Services will be held on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Sagebrush Community Church, 6440 Coors Blvd. NW. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
