Richard B. Reinman

June 15, 1929 — March 1, 2018

Richard (Dick) Reinman, age 88, loving husband, father and grandfather passed away on March 1, 2018. Dick built his life and family in Albuquerque for over sixty years and his warmth, grace and kindness touched many in the community. He delighted in meeting new people, learning their stories and making them feel welcome.

An avid investor and technology enthusiast, Dick was featured in a New York Times article for his early adoption of Internet banking. His love of current events and his overall curiosity about the world were exceeded only by his devotion to family and friends.

Dick held a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the University of Arizona and a master’s degree from UNM. His career included, high level programming positions at Sandia National Laboratory and EG&G, followed by a second career with PC Support. Dick served his country as a corporal in the United States Air Force and his community as a President of B’nai B’rith.

He is survived by his loving wife, of sixty years Marilyn, and his daughters and son-in-law’s, Paula Reinman, and Sandy Gross and, Betsy and Aryeh Stein. His cherished grandchildren, are Lanny, William, Marlee, Zachary, and Shoshana. A service to celebrate and remember Dick’s life will be held at B’nai Israel Synagogue, 4401 Indian School Rd NE, in Albuquerque on Monday, March 5, 2018 at 11:00 am. The family requests that donations be made to B’nai Israel Synagogue.
