Richard G. Myers, 81, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather went to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 6, 2015. Richard was born on December 4, 1933, in Lincoln, NE to Charles and Ada Myers. Richard served in the Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He moved to Albuquerque in 1961. In 1986, Richard established Agape SW Pueblo Pottery in Old Town and turned it into the successful business that it is today. He was a longtime member of Sandia Baptist Church. A lifelong Nebraska Football fan, he was also a member of The New Mexicans for Nebraska club in Albuquerque. Richard was preceded in death by his parents; his sister Jean Woods; brother Bob Myers; and son Geoff. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Nadynne; daughters Vicki Simmons and husband Gerard, and Jennifer Rascon and husband Carlos; three grand children, Adam and wife Jeni, Ashley and Alex; and one great granddaughter Cora. Friends may visit Tuesday, August 18, 2015 beginning at 10:00 a.m. at FRENCH - Lomas followed by a service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 2:15 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made, in Richard's name, to Sandia Baptist Church.
