Richard H. Golby

Richard H. "Dick" Golby, 80, beloved husband and father, grandfather and great-grandfather was called to his eternal resting place on April 18, 2018. Our family rock passed away after an 18 month battle with cancer that he defied to the very end. He had a 46 year career as a defense contractor after serving 8 years in the US Air Force.  Any questions regarding his work was always met with a silent stare.

He liked country music, was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan and his greatest love was being with and caring for his children, grandchildren and especially great-grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Tilli; sons, Rich (MaryBeth), and Ken; daughter, Linda (Duke); grandchildren, John, Jackson, Patrick (Diana), Brandon (Valerie), Lindsey (Tom); and great-grandchildren, Justin, Jacob, Jace, Payton, Elliott and Duke. Dick was preceded in death by his parents, John and Rita; brother, Jack; sister, Nadine; granddaughter, Amelia; grandson, Richie, and daughter-in-law, Jeanine.

A Visitation will be held on Monday, April 23, 2018, 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at FRENCH – Lomas followed by a Memorial Service at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow by APD escort to Sunset Memorial Park at 924 Menaul Blvd NE with an Air Force Honor Guard.g A Reception will be held after interment at the Albuquerque FOP Lodge 1, 4120 Cutler Ave NE.
