Richard E. Foster

Richard E. Foster peacefully passed away on Saturday, August 15, 2015. He is survived by his daughter, Lori Foster and Mark Mullin of Albuquerque, NM; son, Rick Foster and spouse Larry Decker of Port Ewen, NY; niece, Karen Penichter and husband, Dave of Yorktown Heights, NY; and beloved extended family, Debbie Packard of Jemez Springs, Jessica and Katy Souther, of Albuquerque, NM. Richard was preceded in death by his cherished wife of almost 50 years, Patricia Foster; and parents, Angelina Guglielmino and Richard Foster Sr. Dick grew up in Queens, NY and later lived in Northport, NY, Flagler Beach, FL and finally in Albuquerque, NM. Mr. Foster was a Korean War veteran serving in the U.S. Army. He worked as a Probation Officer with the Suffolk County, NY Probation Department and loved working with the youth. Dick and Pat loved to dance, spend time on the beach and animals, especially dogs. Cremation has taken place and Richard will be laid to rest at Santa Fe National Cemetery next to his wife, Patricia.
