Richard (Dick) Larry Clark passed away surrounded by loved ones on March 5, 2024, at the age of 90 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Even though Alzheimer's took him away from this world, he never lost his strength or sense of humor.
Richard was a proud father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He is survived by his daughter, Sandra; grandson, Cameron; granddaughter-in-law, Cristian; and great grandsons, Logan and Jackson. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 45 years, Anneliese Clark; their infant son, Matthias (Matt) Clark; mother, Avis Bradstreet; father, Lester Clark; and sister, Betty Bowden.
Richard was born in Belfast, Maine on January 23, 1934. Eager to earn money for his family he started working at the local sawmill at the age of 12. At the age of 18, after graduating as valedictorian from Stockton Springs High School, he decided to serve his country and join the Air Force. He retired as a Master Sergeant after 20 years of service as an aircraft mechanic. He subsequently held jobs as a truck driver, car salesman, and part owner of Dollar Car Rental at the Albuquerque International Sunport.
Richard had many friends and many hobbies. He enjoyed working on cars, reading, walking, watching sports, dogs, camping, dancing, skiing, and New Mexican food. He loved traveling. You name the state or the country and he was probably there at some time in his life. He never met a stranger and could always make you laugh. He will be greatly missed by his many friends and family.
