Richard "Yogi" Bair

Bair, Richard "Yogi" Richard "Yogi" Bair, age 80, went into the arms of God on November 13, 2015 after a lengthy illness. He met the love of his life, Patricia Bowles Meyer in Lake Charles, Louisiana and they were married on September 2, 1960. Yogi served 20 years in the United States Airforce as a pilot retiring in 1979 when he then became a research scientist for UNM. After 17 years with UNM, he again retired. Yogi is survived by his wife of 55 years, Patricia Bair; three daughters and their husbands, Linda and Don Engdahl, Teresa and James Sexton, and Jacqui & Dennis Hansen; as well as seven grandchildren. A visitation will be held for friends and family at French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE from 4 - 6 pm on November 18, 2015. Services for Yogi will be held at Hope Evangelical Free Church, 4710 Juan Tabo NE at 11 am on November 19, 2015 with burial to follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 3 pm. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Joy Junction or to the Albuquerque Rescue Mission in his name.
