Richard Ambrosio Baca, born April 6, 1929, passed peacefully from a prolonged illness on May 16, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family.
Richard served honorably in WWII. He later retired from the postal service.
He is preceded in death by his son, Michael. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Viola; his sons, Richard and wife Susan, Donald, Timothy and Jacob; grandchildren, Anita Mitchell, Richard Baca, Matthew Baca and Michael Baca; one great-grandson, Jeramiah Ortiz; his sister-in-law, who was like a daughter, Dolores Saiz; his sisters, Eva Santana and Toni Nelson, and his brother, Herman Sandoval and wife Timmie.
He was greatly loved and will be missed by a large extended family.
