Ricardo M. Garcia

Ricardo Manuel Garcia, a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico was called to his eternal resting place on March 26, 2024. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend.

Ricardo entered this world on June 21, 1940 in La Junta, CO. He is survived by his wife Sylvia Garcia, son Ricardo Garcia, Jr. (Angel) ; son Raymond Garcia (Sylvia); son Robert Garcia (Jeri); son Ralph Garcia (Augie) and son Raul Garcia; his grandchildren Isaac, Ariana, Aaron, Gabriel, Ilissa, Ash, Raven and Josh. Ricardo was preceded in death by his parents, Manuel and Carmen Garcia and sister, Della Evans. He is survived by his brother Lori Garcia; sister Erlinda Maxwell; sister Betty Sceery and brother Tom Garcia. Ricardo will be missed dearly by those who knew and loved him.

Ricardo served in the Air Force as an aircraft mechanic, taught electronics at Sandia High School, Technical Vocational Institute, and the Career Enrichment Center. He was a weapons engineer at Sandia National Laboratories for 25 years. He had a passion for anything technical, loved to ride motorcycles, fish, and hunt. Ricardo was a jack of all trades.

There will be a Visitation on Thursday, April 4, 2024 at 9:30 am at Our Lady of Fatima, 4020 Lomas Blvd NE, followed by a Rosary at 10:00 am. There will be a Mass at 10:30 am with a Reception at FRENCH- University from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm.
