On March 24, 2017, at 10:35 a.m., the Lord claimed his most precious child, Ricardo Senon Casco Casco, a great husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great-grandfather, lovingly known as "papi" or "abuelito." He was ninety-eight years old, born in Penipe, Chimborazo, Ecuador.
His three children survive him: Guillermo Mosquera Parreño and his wife, Luz de Mosquera, Carlos Casco and his wife, Yolanda Casco, and Mercedes Mejia, and her husband, Daniel Gutierrez. Grandchildren: Yanela Molina, Charles Casco, Guillermo Casco, Angela Shields, Richie Casco, Yolee Annette Reyes, Raoul Anthony Mejia, Dennis Louie Mejia, Mercedes Veronica Mejia, Carmen Luz Mariategui, Lourdes Mosquera, Guillermo Ricardo Mosquera, Jose Joaquin Mosquera, Pedro Pablo Mosquera, David Mosquera, Donna Oracion, Denise Gutierrez, and Brian Gutierrez; 27 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
As a merchant marine, he traveled worldwide and was the most interesting person to talk to. He enjoyed telling his amazing stories to his family and friends. He loved to travel, watch soccer; Sunday's shot of brandy, evening's cup of wine and was a great chef. We will miss him dearly and his legacy will live forever. The Lord said to him, "come back to me, I have your loving wife, Luisa Angelica Parreño de Casco, your mother-in-law, Angelica Parreño, who loved you very much, your three brothers and sister waiting for you and rejoicing." His final resting place will be with his wife and mother-in-law in Guayaquil, Ecuador.
Rosary will be Sunday, April 9, 2017, 8:45 a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 4020 Lomas Blvd. NE. Mass will follow at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please donate to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
