He was full of spirit and adventure spending his free time in his younger days on motorcycles and later boating at nearby lakes. Rex also enjoyed spending time hunting and fishing with endless stories to tell. As a true dog lover, he was always with one of his best friends whether it be on the jobsite, a hunting trip, or in his boat. He was also frequently seen taking his dogs for a Sunday hamburger. Rex pursued and attained his lifelong dream of retiring on the water and becoming an avid sailor when he moved to Guatemala in 2011 and rebuilt his own sailboat.
