Reverend Francisco J. Alvarado Sr

Reverend Francisco Javier Alvarado, Sr., age 56, a resident of Albuquerque for over 30 years, was called to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 18, 2015. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Elizabeth Alvarado; children, Francisco Javier Alvarado, Jr. and wife, Claudia, Leslie Alvarado and husband, Severiano Vera, and Eunice Alvarado and husband, Jaime; four grandchildren, Victoria, Isaac, Francisco III, and Max; siblings, Amelia, Victor, Samuel, Daniel, and Isidra; and many other relatives and friends. Francisco was born in 1958 in Ciudad, Juarez, Mexico and immigrated to Albuquerque in 1981 in search of the American dream for his family. He gave his life to Christ in 1991 and went on to become the respected and beloved Pastor of Iglesia La Promesa in 1993. Reverend Alvarado selflessly dedicated his life to his community and those he shepherded. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and shepherd and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. A Celebration Service will be on Friday, July 24, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at Casa Del Rey, 2500 Corona Dr. NW 87120. A Memorial Service will be on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Casa Del Rey, followed by interment at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.
