Reva Clarice Pierce was a beloved sister, mother and grandmother. She passed away peacefully Monday evening, December 14, 2015 from her seventh battle with cancer-surviving from mouth/neck, breast, and skin cancer previously.
Born June 7, 1920, to Elisabeth Lewis in Faith, South Dakota, oldest sibling to Harriet Yun and Bob Lewis; Reva lived a long, happy, and Christ devoted life for ninety-five years.
Reva married Prince Pierce, moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico in 1945 and had two daughters, Kathy Pierce and Lisa Pierce-Massimo who married Richard Massimo and gave her three grandchildren: Joshua, Jesse, and Clarice Massimo.
Reva's unwavering strength, dedicated selflessness, and steadfast faithfulness made her "fantastic" and "fine as frog's hair" each and every day, even at the highest moments of uncertainty she faced.
The funeral service will be held Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at 10 o'clock a.m. at Shephard Lutheran Church and School, 3900 Wyoming Blvd. NE, with a reception afterward. Prior to the reception will be a memorial scattering at Sunset Memorial Park.
