Renate Katherine English

Age 86, a resident of Albuquerque, died Thursday, October 31, 2013 after a brief illness. She is survived by her sons, COL Thomas L. English, MI Army National Guard, and wife, April of Williamston, MI., Lawrence A. English and wife, Celeste of Albuquerque, Stephen L. English and wife, Matti of Albuquerque; step children, Lois M. Rork, John R. English and wife, Phoebe of Albuquerque, and Charles H. English and wife, Ann; 8 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren and many other family and friends. Mrs. English was preceded in death by her husband, LTC Tracy English US Army (Ret); her son, Michael R. English and her parents, Hans and Elsa von Busch. Mrs. English was a member of the National League of American Pen Women, the New Mexico Water Color Society, American Red Cross volunteer, Master Gardener, and avid swimmer. Renate was a longtime member of St. Luke Lutheran Church where a Memorial Service will be Saturday, November 2, 2013, 1:00 p.m. Private Interment will take place at a later date.
