Rebecca (Barela) Varela

Varela, Rebecca "Becky", age 73, a resident of Albuquerque since 1978, with a dedication to her hometown of Las Cruces, NM. She is survived by her two children: Jacob Varela and Kristine White, both of Albuquerque, NM. She is also survived by her beloved three grandchildren: Ryan Varela, Elizabeth Varela, and Atticus White. Becky was loved by many others including three siblings, nieces, nephews, and many lifelong friends. Becky was proud of her accomplished career at Blue Cross Blue Shield, from which she retired. She was also a member of the Sagebrush Church, which she drew much comfort from in her final days. She was a dedicated mother, grandmother, and friend to many. Rest In Peace Becky.
