Benavidez, Rebecca Rebecca Benavidez, age 72, born January 8, 1943 went to be with the Lord September 16, 2015 while she slept. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward J. Benavidez. She is survived by her two sons, Michael Gonzales and Donald L. Duran; two sisters, Mary Parrish and Teresa Strogen; many nieces, nephews and friends. Family and friends may visit FRENCH - University on Wednesday, September 23, 2015 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Mass will be held on Friday, September 25, 2015, 9:00 a.m., at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 9502 4th St. NW, with a reception to follow.
