Reba Price was born in Charlotte, NC on August 3, 1958, and passed away unexpectedly on April 11, 2016 in Peralta, NM. She is survived by her friend and life partner Hal Mackey; his daughter, Samantha; their pets, Misty and Dori; and numerous friends in New Mexico and Ohio.
Reba received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Major in Finance, University of Akron, OH in 1993 and her Master of Arts in Counseling and Human Development-Mental Health, Walsh University, North Canton, OH in 1999. Reba had for the past nine years worked as a counselor and sold health insurance as an independent agent, primarily through employer groups and Medicare products to individuals in New Mexico. Her colleagues and clients will surely miss her energy, enthusiasm, professionalism, and dedication. In addition, Reba was dedicated to her Sandia Kiwanis Club in Albuquerque where she served as past president and supported its numerous projects for local and international children's charities.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Christ the Ray of Hope Lutheran Church, 7001 San Antonio Dr. NE. Memorials may be made in her memory to Free Wheelchair Mission in care of Christ the Ray of Hope Lutheran Church, 7001 San Antonio Drive NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109, or to New Mexico Horse Rescue, Walkin N Circles Ranch, PO Box 626, Edgewood, NM 87015, or to New Day Youth & Family Services, 1330 San Pedro NE, Suite 201-B, Albuquerque, NM 87110.
