Raymond Stephens, 86, beloved husband, was called to his eternal resting place on May 11, 2018. He entered this world on February 9, 1932 in East Springfield, OH, born to Stacey and Arminta Stephens. He is survived by his wife, of 60 years, Joan Roybal Stephens; brother, David Stephens; sister, Shirley Britton and many nephews and nieces. He was a devoted father to his 3 children Kimberly, Mark and Kevin Stephens. Raymond served in the Air Force. He was an electrical engineer; a professor at Texas A/M University and retired from the government service in January 1999. He received his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree from Arizona State University and was working on his doctorate at Texas A/M. He was a true follower of Jesus Christ. A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Westside. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Albuquerque’s First Baptist Church at 4101 Paseo Del Norte NW Albuquerque, NM 87114. Interment will follow at Mt.
