Raymond Smith, age 86, passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2016.
Ray was born in Rush Springs, OK. He served in the army during the Korean War. After marrying Pat, they moved to Albuquerque, where he worked for the US Postal Service for 31 years.
Ray was known for his love of guitar playing and singing old country songs; and his love of camping and RV'ing with his RV group.
Ray is survived by his daughters, Cindy Hilligoss (husband Jesse), Kathy Christensen (husband Jerry); and his grandchildren, Jason Hilligoss and Carolyn Hilligoss.
He is also survived by his brother, Gene (wife Louise) and numerous nieces and nephews.
Ray was preceded in death by his wife, Pat; and his siblings, Stanley, George, Mary Ferne, Nadine, and Henry.
A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, April 21, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at FRENCH - Wyoming. Burial service will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a contribution may be made to your favorite charity.
