Raymond "Ray" Moore

Raymond "Ray" Moore, 75, passed away peacefully at home June 26, 2015 after a long illness. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Gloria St. John Moore; his children Ray Moore, Gary Moore and wife Evelyn, Deanna Moore and husband Dr. Randy Josephson, Michael Moore; grandchildren Scott and wife Erica, Ryan, Shawna, Jordan, Kristin, Garrett, Harmoni, Sereniti, Zach; four great grandchildren, and many other family and friends. Mr. Moore was preceded in death by his parents, Sadie and Dick Griffin and Austin Moore, his siblings, Dorothy, Mary, and Steve. A graduate of Jonesboro High in Arkansas, he then served honorably in the United States Navy from 1957 to 1960. Mr. Moore was a successful entrepreneur who owned and operated his own business. He and Gloria were long time members of John XXIII Catholic Community and he was an active member of American Legion Post 13. A Rosary will be recited Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. at FRENCH-Lomas. Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at John XXIII Catholic Church, 4831 Tramway Ridge Dr NE with burial to follow at Mt Calvary Cemetery. Friends may visit Tuesday, 5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at FRENCH-Lomas.
