Raymond J. "Ray" Garcia

"Raymond J. "Ray" Garcia, 74, passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2016. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Mary; his children, Rick Garcia and wife, Iyleen and their son, Isaiah, David Garcia and his children, Melanie, Drew, Adria and Jamie; grandchildren, Nadine, Renee, Emily, Ramon, Aileen, Gerald and Sarah, his great-grandchildren, as well as many other family members and friends. Ray is preceded in death by his parents, Librado and Dometillia Garcia; his two sons, Michael and Gerald Garcia; and granddaughter, Precious Garcia. Mr. Garcia was a Jack of all trades, he was a gifted mechanic and talented musician. He retired from Albuquerque Public Schools after 25 years of dedicated service. Ray and his wife, Mary, were long time members of Our Lady of the Assumption Parish. Public visitation for friends and family will be held March 10th, 5-6 pm. Rosary to be recited at 6:00 pm at FRENCH Funerals & Cremations on Lomas and Eubank. Mass will be celebrated Friday, March 11, 2016, 12:00pm at Our Lady of the Assumption, Lomas and Tennessee, with burial to follow on Saturday, March 12th at Nuestra Senora de Refugio Cemetery near Santa Rosa in PDL."
