Raquel Tabone

Raquel Martinez-Tabone, 73, of Rio Rancho, New Mexico passed away on May 26, 2017. Raquel was born on March 28, 1944, in Santurce, Puerto Rico to the late Amelia Gonzales Guzman and Santo Gonzales. Raquel was the beloved wife of Francis Tabone, loving mother of Stuart Andrew Martinez, loving grandmother of Amanda Martinez and Andrea Martinez, loving great-grandmother of Ariana Jasmine Martinz-Minor and Samanta Castillo and dear sister of Louise Monroe, Louis Gonzales, Jimmy Gonzales and the late Manny Rodriguez and Carmen Rodriguez.
Raquel worked for the New York City Department of Education, as a teacher, psychologist and a supervisor of psychologists. Raquel received a Doctorate of Philosophy from Yeshiva University.
A visitation will be held Monday, May 29, 2017 at 1:00 p.m., followed by a Memorial Service at 2:00 p.m. at FRENCH – Rio Rancho in our Desert View Chapel.
