Randall “Randy” Scott Eastburg, age 68, passed away during the evening of August 7th, 2024, after a long battle with cancer.
Randy was born and raised in Albuquerque, NM to Newell Eastburg and Barbara Wallace. Randy graduated from Manzano High School and spent most of his career in Albuquerque working in the car business, culminating in owning and operating his own chain of car lots, Cross Country Auto Sales, for over 10 years. In 2010, Randy moved his family to the Dallas Fort Worth area to open a roofing business, Valley Ridge Roofing, which he then owned and operated for over 14 years.
Randy is survived in death by his wife of over 35 years, Lisa Eastburg; two sisters, Linda Eastburg and Gwen Lowry; two children; Bradley Bowling and Brooke Baker; and two grandchildren, Easton Baker and Witten Baker.
Randy was an avid sports fan. Randy coached many of his children’s teams as they grew up, some of which went on to compete at the regional and national level. Randy also enjoyed attending college and professional sporting events of his favorite teams: the New Mexico Lobos, the Dallas Cowboys, the Texas Rangers, and the Dallas Stars. Later in life, Randy loved watching racehorses that he and his wife owned, collecting abnd restoring classic cars, and playing golf with family and friends.
The memorial service for Randy will be held Friday, August 23, 2024, 11:00 a.m., at FRENCH – University. Please reach out to a family member if there is anything you would like to share about Randy.
